Dinner with the Twins

Tonight we met our friends Chris and Melissa and their three children for dinner in downtown Savannah at Mellow Mushroom. The pizza was yummy and it was so much fun to catch up. We also enjoyed watching the kids interact. They have twin 2-year-old girls and a 5-year-old boy.

The twins loved checking "Baby Anna" out.

Anna was equally amazed by the twins. She kept looking back and forth at the girls trying to figure out why they looked alike.

One of the adorable twins!

So sweet!

I tried to get all of the girls to look, but they are all too busy!

Chillaxin' Outside

Recently, the weather has been so beautiful that we have been able to enjoy lots of time outside. Jason and Anna love hanging out together on the hammock.
Anna relaxed with Jason on the hammock for over an hour!

We love walking down to the grassy area in front of Cross Episcopal Church on the river.

Anna likes peeking through the holes in the brick wall...

and crawling around exploring the wall.

She also loves checking out all of the tourists milling about.

Anna was waiting patiently for Daddy to blow up her baby pool.

Anna loves her pool.

She wants the dogs to join her though!

Love this little angel who loves being outside as much as her Daddy and I do!

Anna's First Trip to the Sandbar

Last weekend, we spent Saturday on the boat. It was the first day since we got the boat that it was warm enough to take Anna to the Sandbar. We also traveled over to Daufuskie Island and enjoyed dinner at Marshside Mamas. Anna was a trooper and was fabulous all day long!

Photo Shoot

I have to post the pictures that I took of Anna today. I just wanted to get one good one, but she has gotten quite the personality recently.

She was trying to get me!

There was a bug....

flying over her head!

Looking for dada!

Happy girl!

Anna and Sophia's Day at the Pool

Anna and I spent the day at the pool with our friends Sarah and Baby Sophia. It was a beautiful day. Sophia had never been in a pool before and the girls had a blast.
So sweet!

Anna wanted to try to swim on her own and Sophia was taking it all in.

Anna loves to splash!

Easter

Jason, Anna, and I celebrated a wonderful Easter weekend in North Carolina. We went up, stayed with my mom, and participated in the same Easter traditions that I grew up doing. Anna's first Easter Basket! It was full of books, bunny ears, and a stuffed bunny. Anna was most excited about the books. That is all that she wants to play with these days!
We got a rare family photo after church.

My whole family...plus a couple of "friends"

Anna cuddling with my Mema

Anna got the hang of the Easter Egg Hunt pretty quickly. She crawled around in the grass to gather eggs, I would lean her towards some so that she could pick them up, and she had a few sweet cousins that shared theirs. She would then place them in the basket as long as she could keep one in her hand.

She was trying to figure out what she is supposed to do with them now.

She was so excited when she realized that there were more in the basket.

Can I eat the egg?

I'll try!

She loved watching the older kids climb in Mema's dogwood tree.
