Outside with the Dogs!

Anna loves her dogs. She even said "dog" and "Dixie" right after she said "mama" and "dada." Lucy seems a little bit harder to say so she calls both dogs Dixie. She pulls up on the shutters and stares out at them until I take her outside to play. Dixie looking in!

Anna can pull up on everything these days.

Once we made it outside, she was upset that Daddy and Dixie were not paying attention to her.

Dixie came over to make her feel better!

Anna loves watching the dogs chase the ball.

Anna enjoys eating her snack on the adirondak chair.

Dixie likes when she eats her snack there too.

Anna loves when Dixie eats her scraps!

Anna's dogs love hanging out with her!

Anna and Her Snack Trap

I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of Anna enjoying one of her favorite activities--eating her afternoon snack out of her SnackTrap.
I got one!

I can stuff it in my mouth by myself!

Yummy! Time for more!

Georgia Aquarium

Jason, Anna, and I spent the weekend in Atlanta. Jason ran in the half marathon on Sunday and then we went to the Georgia Aquarium on Monday. The aquarium was awesome and very impressive. We all three enjoyed ourselves!
The Coral Reef tank was Anna's favorite. She talked to the fish and laughed as they swam by. They were all very colorful!

The large tank that you can walk through was amazing. They have huge whale sharks, manta rays, giant groupers, and so many other fish.

A giant grouper saying hi

Look at that face!
The only manta ray in any U.S. aquarium--she was doing tricks!

Jason loved the giant grouper! I think he wishes that he could catch one. This one weighs almost 500 lbs.

A view into the tank and a couple of sharks!

Daffodils!

There is a wonderful local farm that grows daffodils and shares their fields with the public when they bloom. Anna, Mimi, and I went on Sunday to see the beautiful daffodils and to pick a few for ourselves.

Trip to Charleston

Last week, Anna and I enjoyed a trip to Charleston and Isle of Palms to spend time with my sister and mom. We had a great girls' long weekend. We went to the South Carolina Aquarium, went shopping, hung out on the beach, and had some yummy meals in downtown Charleston.

Anna was fascinated by the penguin in front of her.

Anna enjoyed sitting in the sand for the first time and loved crawling around in it.

Swinging

Anna loves to swing and we were able to enjoy the beautiful afternoon at a nearby playground.
Anna was ready to get swinging!

I was trying to get her attention with a wave and captured one of her first waves on film.

Waving hi to mommy!

Ready for a push!

Up!

Up!

and Up!

This is fun!

A Lazy Monday on the Boat

Jason, Anna, and I spent Monday afternoon on the boat. It was a beautiful day and it was the first time that we have taken Anna out on the boat since she can crawl around and sit up. She enjoyed exploring the boat and eating her snack on the water.
